In terms of other things as university, it feels as though students are generally overlooked at UTAS. We feel completely out of the loop about decisions and actions made at the uni, as well as an overall sense of distrust with the uni generally. The main reason that keeps me at UTAS instead of going to another uni is the fact that UTAS is the only university in Tasmania, and I do not have the financial backing to move interstate to study elsewhere.
